General and administrative issues

✓ 2014 PGAs : budgets are to be entered on CAPplan. In order to validate the PGAs, the Climate KIC does not longer require for the extraction to be printed, signed and re uploaded. The financial data only has to be sent to the lead partner throught the Excel sheet and uploaded on CAPplan.

✓ E3P progress review : A project progress review will be held on June 25th 2014. More information about its content is expected from the Climate KIC.

E3P tools

✓ Market study : In order to carry on the mailing and improve its results, feedback from Aria is expected. More quantitative information will help identifying which persons and firms or institutions have shown interests in E3Pviz.

✓ LSCE weather generator : the paper untitled "AnaWEGE: a weather generator based on analogues of atmospheric circulation" has been accepted and can be found here. Partners are currently looking at the IP issues and the possible "envelope" as outcome for the weather generators inter-comparison.


Events

✓ The 2014 International Work-Conference on Time Series (ITISE 2014) will be held in Grenada (Spain) from June 25 to 27. More information is to be found here.

✓ The next WMO Technical Conference on Climate Services – Building on CLIPS Legacy will take place in Heidelberg (Germany) from 30th June – 2nd July 2014. More information can to be found here.

✓ A colloquium untitled "Uncertainty in climate change research: An integrated approach" will take place in NCAR - Boulder (Colorado, USA) from July 21th 2014 to August 6th 2014. More information can to be found here.

✓ A conference about stochastic weather generators will be held in Avignon (France) in September 2014 (17-19). A website is from now on available and more information can indeed be found here.

✓ The 2014 Climate Symposium will be held in Darmstadt (Germany) from 13 to 17 october 2014. To be noticed on Thursday 16th sessions untitled "Prediction and Attribution of Extremes: From Climate to Weather" and "Regional Climate Variability and Change: Enabling Climate Services".
