General and administrative issues |
✓ 2014 PGAs : budgets are to be entered and validated on CAPplan. In order to validate the PGAs, the Climate KIC does not longer require for the extraction to be printed, signed and re uploaded.
The financial data only has to be sent to the lead partner throught the Excel sheet, uploaded and validated on CAPplan.
✓ E3P progress review : A project review was held on June 25th 2014. In the presence of the French and English CLCs (Innovation leads and officers), the discussion aimed at monitoring the E3P activities and findind practical ways for a follow-up of the project.
Minutes from this meeting are expected from the Climate KIC.

✓ E3Pviz : New mutli-model indices (Number of frost days at - 11°, monthly means and seasonal means) have been computed by the LSCE using the new correction methodology. Those will be added to E3Pviz as soon as possible.
In the meantime, they are available on the DODS server here (information) and here (download).
✓ LSCE processing chain : the documentation regarding the data processing chain can be found on the E3P website and soon on the E3Pviz website. The licencing of this chain is currently under preparation.

✓ A colloquium untitled "Uncertainty in climate change research: An integrated approach" will take place in NCAR - Boulder (Colorado, USA) from July 21th 2014 to August 6th 2014.

✓ A conference about stochastic weather generators will be held in Avignon (France) in September 2014 (17-19).

✓ The 14th EMS Annual Meeting & 10th European Conference on Applied Climatology (ECAC) will be held in Prague (Czech Republic) from 06 to 10 October 2014.
To be noticed a session untitled "Climate change detection, assessment of trends, variability and extremes" (UC1) on October 6th and 7th.

✓ The 2014 Climate Symposium will be held in Darmstadt (Germany) from 13 to 17 october 2014.
To be noticed on Thursday 16th sessions untitled "Prediction and Attribution of Extremes: From Climate to Weather" and "Regional Climate Variability and Change: Enabling Climate Services".
