General and administrative issues |
✓ Consortium Agreement : The lawyers from the KIC have validated the latest version sent in mid-August 2013. Our CA is now consistent with the KIC's expectations.
The document will very soon be sent to all partners for signature.
✓ The PGAs process for 2013 is still on its way. Completed by 8 partners, only two documents remain to be signed.
Events |
✓ Dialogue café “INTEGRATED DATA AND MONITORING” for sustainable urban management (Sofia, Bulgaria 18 – 19 September 2013). The “Integrated Data and Monitoring” Dialogue Cafe will focus on the need of quality and integrated information and permanent monitoring of urban changes for better understanding the urban development processes and applying an integrated urban management approach. ✓ Climate KIC Innovation Festival (Poland - 21 to 23 October 2013). This festival will celebrate Climate-KICs achievements and discuss the main concepts that have emerged for creating a self-sustaining organisation with an innovation portfolio that will generate high impact in Europe and beyond. More information can be found here
✓ The Adaptation Services (AS) platform is organising a meeting on November 19th in Bologna. The aim of this meeting is to get the Climate-KIC adaptation services community together. More information ca be asked to Harilaos Loulos or Ralf Toumi.
✓ The American Geophysical Union (AGU) will be held in San Francisco between December 9 and 13. To be noticed : a session untitled : "Climate Services: Translating Climate Science into Societal Benefit at Seasonal to Decadal Time Scales". More information can be found here
What's next ? |
✓ A meeting involving the SMEs and Jean-Christophe Duval (KIC Entrepreneuship lead) on the WP 2 / business model issue will be held on September 20th. This meeting will be held in Jussieu (Paris).
✓ A weather generator workshop will be held on October 15th 2013 (Jussieu, Paris). This meeting will aim at discussing the scientific issues related to the WGs, notably regarding the tests.
